The fact that this car has won the Duntov Mark Of Excellence speaks for its condition. It has less than 500 miles since restoration. It is factory flawless.
Of the 102 1957 Corvette Fuel Injection / PowerGlide combinations, only about a dozen are left. That coupled with this Corvette's amazing originality, makes this fuelie a rare and historic keeper. The Original owner was a Chevrolet dealer in Caldwell, Ohio who ordered it for his wife. The second owner performed a body-off restoration on the car from 1986-1989, bringing it to it's present state with an emphasis on authenticy... it was restored the way the factory built it, no better or worse. Even the original interior upholstery was retained due to its great condition. During the restoration all the original bolts and screws were replated and restored, not replaced. This car retains the complete factory original drivetrain and is highly documented.
